I have used Spax screws for years and they have always been excellent.Good quality metal. I don't remember ever breaking the head off while applying toque.The design of the threads makes them easy to start and they cut their way into wood cleanly and easily.The combo head is excellent, especially if you get a matching bit, but they can be driven with either a Phillips or a square drive bit.Best screws I ever seen.
