Dremel MM450 3-Inch Multi-Max Flat Saw Blade Review

This is an excellent blade for cutting drywall -- quick clean cuts and a minimum of dust. I used it extensivly when cutting out damaged sections of drywall for replacement. It leaves a very clean edge so you can fit in the new section neatly and hide the seams. Also used it to cut thin sheets of plastic (1/4 inch) and it did a great job with smooth clean edges. Just don't force the tool -- with any MultiMax cuts, take it slow and steady and you'll be happy with the results.

I've also used it on wood and it's a decent performer for light-weight jobs and softwoods.The 3/4 inch wood/metal blade is better suited for tougher wood cutting tasks, but this will do the job (albeit slower). Less expensive than the other wood blades, which is a plus.
