If you're looking for a cheap set of forstner bits, that's what you'll get. These bits are almost well made - up until the part where they're supposed to sharpen them at the factory. They aren't. The teeth are shaped, but not sharp. If you use them as-is, they will burn through the wood, but do not produce actual shavings or a clean cut. If you take a few minutes to hand sharpen the bit you want to use, it then does a decent job.
It's really a case of "you get what you pay for" - what do you expect for $30?
